Mercedes-Benz Brings the Entertainment with Disney+

“When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true”—especially when it’s a three-pointed star.To make your Mercedes-Benz a hub for entertainment, Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with the Walt Disney Company’s streaming service, Disney+, to deliver its great content into our vehicles. This will further enhance the multitude of infotainment options available through the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX).  

If you happen to have an active Disney+ subscription, you can enjoyclassic Disney animation, the world of the Star Wars franchise, the superheroes of the Marvel Universe, and modern wonders by Pixar. For a deeper exploration of our planet, there’sNational Geographic. All ofthese and more can be seen and heard through the MBUX system. 

Think about it. Imagine Snow White, Aladdin, or Moanapiped through the cabin of your Mercedes-Benz? Robin Williams as the Genie would bring everyone inside your vehicle to continuous laughter. How about the intrigue of “The Mandalorian”? Or the sheer fun from the Toy Story franchise? It is alwaysWakanda Forever inside your Mercedes-Benz.  

How does this work? It starts with the MBUX’s intuitive interface,whichallows for Disney+ content to be seamlessly channeled onto the system, providing an effortless,user-friendly experience. You can see and hear this content at its highest level of quality, especially if your Mercedes-Benz is equipped with the Burmester®* 3D and 4D Surround Sound Systems.  

There is a consideration for safety. In Mercedes-Benz models equipped with passenger-side screens, passengers can enjoy this content in high-definition for an experience equal to a movie theater. You can also view action through your central display screen. However, it is best to view the content from Disney+ from that screen only if your vehicle is parked.  

Content is streamed based on your Disney+ personalized profile. As long as you are logged in through the MBUX system, your favorite movies and television shows will come through,based on your subscription’s preferences. Think of it as another place to watch your Disney+ series or films, the same way you would watch them from home or your mobile device. It also picks up where you left off from the last stream.  

On the all-new CLA, you can have Disney+ integrated in the MBUX system if it is equipped with the Entertainment Plus Package. You can also check for compatibility with your Mercedes-Benz to see if you can enable streaming from Disney+ through your infotainment system.
