​​Can You Get More Range Out of Your 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQE 320​+ SUV? 

Do you always get the range rated by the EPA in your electric vehicle? It is actually quite possible, given the conditions of both the vehicle and the outside climate. “Perfect” conditions may allow for improved and longer range. This was put to the test recently by Edmunds.com, when they tested a 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQE 320+ SUV. They found a very interesting discovery when their actual range increased by 47 miles over the rated figure on their test vehicle. It sounds like good news. However, there is more to that story. But first, we should tell you all about this efficient electric SUV.  

Three words describe the 2026 EQE SUV best: Advanced, adaptive, and adventurous. Advanced is the EQ platform that is the foundation for it. The EQE 320+ is powered by a 235-kilowatt single permanent synchronous motor drive system mounted at the real axle. Putting down 315 horsepower, it is capable of a rated 302-mile range from a full 96-kilowatt-hour battery.  

Its adaptive side comes from the flexibility that the 2026 EQE 320+ exhibits. It can be recharged at over 140,000 public charging stations. The 2026 EQE 320+ also comes with an NACS adapter that can be utilized at certain charging stations. Plus, you can have a home charger installed so you’re ready to go after a good night’s sleep.

That is why they observed a range of 349 miles during their real-world testing. They said that “this comfy [Mercedes-Benz] went farther than expected while using less electricity than expected. This means that if your routine includes a 40-mile round-trip commute, 349 miles is about eight to nine workdays of driving before you need to plug in again.”
