If the Mercedes-AMGÒ GT wasn’t enough to satisfy your desire for high-performance excellence, there is now something that is even more exciting to drive.
The 2025 GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+® was inspired by the track efforts of the GT3 racing cars on the IMSA and Fanatec GT circuits. However, they are not homologation specials. They were developed as race cars first, then road cars as an afterthought. They were created for both road and track. You can put in a few hot laps at Eagles Canyon Raceway after making the run-up from the Metroplex. Or, a short haul to tackle the infield course at Texas Motor Speedway.
At its heart is the AMGÒ twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine. For the PRO model, power has been raised to 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. The result of the higher power numbers is a quick turn from 0-60 MPH at 3.1 seconds. However, it is developed to make the run from 0-124 MPH in 10.9 seconds—0.5 faster than the GT 63.
Cooling all engineered components has been a challenge for high-performance cars. That is why the GT 63 PRO has two radiators positioned in the left and right front wheel arches to increase cooling efficiency and ultimately enhance overall vehicle performance on the racetrack. In addition, there are now top-mounted radiators for the front and rear differentials, along with the transfer case of the AMGÒ Performance 4MATIC+® fully variable all-wheel drive system.
Electrically operated water pumps ensure coolant circulation in the corresponding circuits and can, therefore, better and more continuously dissipate heat via the top-mounted radiators.
The new geometry of the air vanes on the underbody and revised brake cover plates optimize airflow to the brakes, increasing durability and preventing excessive brake temperatures.
With increased cooling, you have improved airflow through the GT 63 PRO’s body. A new fixed rear wing is designed for improved downforce in mind. Additional carbon fiber air deflectors and the front AIRPANEL active air control system augment the AMGÒ Aerodynamics Package to keep the GT 63 PRO planted on the road – or track.
Stopping the GT 63 PRO is the standard AMGÒ carbon ceramic high-performance composite brake system. This system features six-piston fixed calipers at the front paired with 16.5-inch brake discs and single-piston floating calipers at the rear. In all, this braking system will reduce unsprung mass and provide high stability and fade resistance – even under extreme load, such as a few hot laps on a track day.
Lightweight AMGÒ Performance 21-inch Forged Split Spoke Wheels finished exclusively in Himalaya Grey Matte are fitted standard with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires – sized 295/30 ZR 21 at the front and 305/30 ZR 21 at the rear. Track-developed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R extreme performance tires are also available at no additional cost.
Inside the GT 63 PRO are a pair of AMGÒ Performance seats. These seats offer a high level of lateral support. The finishing touch is an AMGÒ Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/microfiber.
