Battery System And Range

  The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV features the right amount of power without sacrificing range. With a 90.6-kWh battery pack and dual motors, the 500 produces 402 horsepower and 633 lb-ft of torque with an EPA-estimated range of 269 miles. Where most brands feel the need to shout about their products, the EQE 500 4MATIC does what it is asked to do without breaking a sweat or feeling the need to prove something. Cargo Space

With the second row of seats the EQE has 14 cu.ft. of cargo space, and with them folded that space grows to a grand 55 cu.ft. This is something that Cars.com raved about, too: “The EQE SUV has plentiful cargo space behind the backseat. And its formal, upright roofline makes the EQE SUV’s interior a more usable space than what you’ll get in a “coupe-style SUV” like a Tesla Model Y … Dropping the rear seats creates even more luggage space, making this a genuinely useful vehicle, as well as a comfortable and luxurious one.”

 

Not Just A Pretty Face 

Lots of new EV customers worry about range anxiety and charging stations, however, the EQE 500 4MATIC excels on range and can charge its battery at 170-kW, which means you can go from 10-80% of charge in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger. “Perhaps the most surprising part about my experience with the EQE500 SUV was its range. It’s rated at a respectable 269 miles on a full charge, and it delivered on that promise in highway miles. That’s almost unheard of given highway miles are a lot more challenging for an EV than city miles, but the EQE SUV managed it even with the climate controls actively keeping the cabin at a comfortable temperature in humid Illinois summer heat.”
