The MANUFAKTUR customization program has been very well received by customers prompting Mercedes-Benz to expand the program to new models and more elements of individualization. The program is currently available on the EQS Sedan, the S-Class, and its Maybach and AMG® counterparts, the G-Class, as well as the Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe and SL.
For the exterior, there will be special paint hues and finishes both on the paint and wheels. For instance, there are currently 30 MANUFAKTUR paint colors and finishes for the G-Class and up to 13 MANUFAKTUR for the S-Class. Special paint finishes are available as well, ranging from matte to metallic, to magno. Inside there will be unique leather colors, custom seat graphics, and leather embossing as well as trim pieces painted in special, eye-catching colors and bespoke finishes. MANUFAKTUR has its own Nappa leather, which can be formed in intricate diamond quilting. The leather is then matched on door panels and armrests, the center console and armrests, and the lower section of the instrument panel.
To make sure that all MANUFAKTUR orders are finished with a quality that meets or exceeds Mercedes-Benz’s own craftsmanship, MANUFAKTUR includes a team of dedicated hand-finishing specialists at our Sindelfingen production site who have been specially trained in a three-year or longer program to provide a flawless application of these materials and finishes. This commitment to the craft expresses a level of workmanship second to none.
