New AMG® SL Roadster

Since the 1950’s the Mercedes-AMG® SL Series has been the very picture of the luxury sports car. Brand new for the 2022 model year, the AMG® SL Roadster brings back the style of decades past with all the modern accoutrements you could want for a stylistically superior convertible roadster. Cruise the streets of the Plano, Richardson, or DFW areas with your 2022 AMG® SL Roadster.

The signature Mercedes-Benz Three Point Star design takes center stage against the backdrop of a slightly aggressive looking AMG® grille. The smooth aerodynamic body of the roadster is highlighted with an electric soft top convertible. The 2022 AMG® SL Roadster tapers off at the tail end, wrapping this convertible up in one sleek and stylish package. Part throwback and part revolutionary design, your new roadster is designed to turn heads.

Your new AMG® SL Roadster will be available in two different trim levels, the SL55 and the SL 63. Both models will come equipped with AMG® built V8 biturbo engines. The SL55 offers up 469 horsepower and an impressive 0-60 score of 3.8 seconds, while the SL 63 stuns with 577 horses and can go from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. They will both come standard with all-wheel drive for optimal traction and handling. Both models of the AMG® SL Roadster will come as a two-door model and will include seating for four people.

The design of this vehicle may have been inspired by the 1950s design, but the interior technology is all 2022. Set into the center of the interior cabin is an 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can be adjusted according to your specifications. The gauges all are digitally displayed on the 12.3-inch screen, directly positioned in your eyeline. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the all-new “Hey Mercedes” feature will be part of the AMG® SL Roadster’s technology package.

In keeping with the tradition of designing new cars with extensive safety equipment, Mercedes-AMG® loaded this roadster with driver assistance features. The AMG® SL Series is reportedly going to include Standard Automated Braking with Pedestrian Detection which makes it even easier to avoid a collision in many instances. Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control will also be part of the standard equipment.
