The New Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Its history has been the backbone of Mercedes-Benz. Once called “pontoon” and “fintail,” the lineage of the E-Class is how this great nameplate defined what it means to exemplify being “the best of nothing.”

For anyone living in Plano, Richardson, Allen, and across the DFW area, the E-Class remains the Mercedes-Benz to own.

And, for 2021, the E-Class has been updated extensively from the outside in. An update that has caught the eye of Motor Trend for it to awarded this year’s Car of The Year.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan offers a wide choice of body styles – each one with its viewpoint for the owner. It starts with the sedan – the backbone of the E-Class. The coupe and cabriolet offer a four-seat sensation at the ultimate level of refinement. The wagon provides the highest level of practicality unmatched in its segment. With four distinct body styles, the E-Class is the epitome of Mercedes-Benz no matter which body you select.

The interior was originally established to break every mold set forth by its rivals. The execution is absolute elegance without compromise – just as intended by Mercedes-Benz. Quality, technology, and comfort are fused with the finest of upholsteries and finishes throughout – a complete elevation from any E-Class before it.

New to this generation are advanced technologies to help the driver stay informed, alert, and entertained. From the COMAND® knob, the driver controls all audio functions, along with additional driver comfort, information and vehicle systems settings from the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) screen on the instrument panel. There is superior room for up to five people, as expected from an E-Class. Wagon owners will also enjoy the benefits of its renown practicality with up to 64.0 cubic feet of cargo space available with the rear seat down.

Power for the E-Class lineup starts with a 255-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It is designed for maximum efficiency while providing that signature Mercedes-Benz performance. The E 350 Sedan can achieve up to 32 MPG on the highway. The next step is the 3.0-liter turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine with the EQ Boost electrification system. This engine offers 362 horsepower. This engine is available on the E 450 Sedan, Wagon, Coupe, and Cabriolet.

For hand-crafted performance, there are two AMG® performance levels to choose from. With hand-built precision underneath the hood and throughout the car, the uprated 429-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine on the E 53 Sedan, Coupe, and Cabriolet features the added efficiency of EQ Boost.

The 4MATIC® system works to keep the E-Class on the road through any weather event by supplying maximum traction to all four wheels.
